I'm a Reiki Master. And although I've learned about the chakras, of course, I wasn't taught how to properly assess the chakras with a pendulum. I would love to know more about this for myself and my clients. Any help you could suggest would be greatly appreciated.

A: It's quite simple really to use a pendulum to test the chakras. I have my favorite rose quartz crystal pendulum and I first announce out loud that if the chakra is open and balanced, the pendulum will swing clockwise. If it is blocked, and needs balancing, it will swing counter-clockwise. Sometimes, the pendulum will hang perfectly still - which I interpret as the chakra energy being totally shut down or closed for that chakra. Other times, it will be erratic - first going one way, then another, which I interpret as a sign that the chakra may be TOO open, which can happen with some of the higher chakras especially.
It's always good to verify with the client if they feel the results feel true for them. My next book, The Chakra Diet, will contain a questionnaire where the reader can check where they feel out of balance. If others have tips for using a pendulum, please share a Comment.
To purchase the same pendulum I like using, see The Crystal Shop.
Namaste!
