Throughout history, one of the most controversial mysteries of psychic abilities is the Third Eye Chakra. While there have been several kinds of research that tackle how this phenomenon happens to a person, traditional science has always tried to debunk the issue.
Yet today, some scientists have engaged in doing experiments and research that would help prove the existence of the extrasensory perception or ESP. More so, they are corroborating the connection between human consciousness and psychic abilities both spiritually and scientifically.
The Power of the Mind
Ancient civilizations have recorded a great deal as to how the mind can do amazing things. One practice that has been passed on from generation to generation is meditation.
In the modern world, people see meditation as a prayer or an act of contemplation. In ancient times meditation was used to tune one’s energy to that of the universe. This raises the consciousness allowing an individual to access psychic abilities through the Third Eye. It is believed that humans, as part of a bigger system like the whole universe, are vibrational beings. According to a BBC documentary by Mind Science, consciousness affects matter. M.I.T physicist Claude Swanson P.h.D noted that while our Orthodox science fails to explain how our consciousness works, scientists like him continue to solve its mystery through quantum mechanics.
The Pineal Gland
Much like quantum mechanics, the mystery of the Third Eye has a great connection with the human consciousness and psychic abilities. As opposed to the common perception, the Third Eye is located deep in the center of the brain called the pineal gland. It is called the Third Eye because it technically is an eye. In its internal membrane, you can find what looks like rods and cones of the retina called Pinealocytes. This is hardwired to the visual cortex of the brain just like the eyeballs. Interestingly enough, what makes it more special is that it is activated by light. Its function and secretion of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep-wake cycle, is stimulated by the solar cycle. It helps to control the body’s circadian (or biological) rhythm and regulates certain reproductive hormones. It secretes more melatonin at night than it does during the day.
It is named after the pine cone which is mainly found on some ancient symbolisms and is even found in the Vatican courtyard. It is believed that a full access to the Third Eye Chakra or the pineal gland unlocks abilities that allow a person to see beyond the physical reality or even travel through space-time.
CIA Remote-viewing Experiment and Quantum Physics
In the recently declassified files of the CIA, a possible production of photons or light particles was reported during a remote viewing session. This strengthens the argument that when the Third Eye Chakra is activated, it can affect the behavior of light on a quantum level which makes seeing things beyond what our physical eyes can see not just plausible, but also possible.
While experiments are still being conducted to prove the connection between human consciousness and quantum physics, a phenomenon like the Third Eye Chakra activation can be our best tool to gain a deeper understanding of the universe and life itself.
