I went to a great Slam Poetry performance at a local high school yesterday. There was a a diverse range of topics, including heartfelt love poetry, searing social commentary, family tragedy, and bittersweet personal confessional pieces. What a wonderful way to find your voice, your creativity, your way to open blocked communication. I saw the blue glow of the throat chakra throughout the auditorium.
