Namaste and Happy Thanksgiving,

Gratitude is not just a word; it is a vibrational frequency that nature responds to, as we all do. Many experts in the metaphysical arena recommend forgiveness and gratitude as the keys to manifestation. "Gratitude sounds so simple, but is a powerful force," sage words from Jeannie Ruman. "It will fill your body and ooze into your energy field and beyond. It is something the earth is in dire need of at this time. You can try vibrating its frequency consciously to the earth by intentionally feeling the emotion of gratitude for all that sustains your life on Mother Earth, basking in the beauty she provides you with each day. It will be absorbed by her body and strengthen her soul, as the feeling pulsates through you, nurturing both of you." ~ from Journey on Gossamer Wings, available at www.kauaishamannaturewalks.com. Namaste and Happy Thanksgiving, Becca Chopra, author of The Chakra Diaries 1 Comment FOLLOW THE CHARACTERS, ESTRELLA AND BARRY, IN THE CHAKRA DIARIES AS THEY FIND BALANCE IN THEIR ROOT CHAKRA, USING THE FOLLOWING MEDITATION, IN ADDITION TO YOGA, TONING, AFFIRMATIONS AND COLOR THERAPY. ROOT CHAKRA MEDITATION Inhale deeply, hold your breath and then exhale. The red whirling ball of energy moves up to the center of your pelvis and turns into a beautiful orange color. This second chakra is related to the element water, and to emotions and sexuality. It connects us to others through feeling, desire, sensation, and movement. Listen to the gentle, flowing music and begin to move with it, allowing your body to relax into it and flow with it. Let go of any pain or tension. Be aware of every sensation in your body. Enjoy it. Allow yourself to become part of the music of life. When you have a well-balanced root chakra, you're well grounded, bonded well with your mother and with Mother Earth, and have a rich sense of security, sense of belonging and self-esteem. One of the best ways to ground your root chakra is to get down on your knees and garden. It's also the best way to celebrate Earth Day! Plant some red flowers (the root chakra spins at the frequency of red light) and you'll experience a surge of vitality. Namaste! Becca |
